Certification Requirements
2011-12

Initiation & Novice H/L

All Coaches and Asst. Coaches require Speak Out & Initiation certification

All Trainers require valid trainer's certification (3 year term) & Speak Out certification

All Managers require Speak Out Certification

Maximum of two Managers
(Each team must have at least one certified coach and at least one certified trainer)

Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget H/L

All Coaches and Asst. Coaches require Speak Out & Coach Level or Development I certification

All Trainers require valid trainer's certification (3 year term) & Speak Out certification

All Managers require Speak Out Certification

Maximum of two Managers
(Each team must have at least one certified coach and at least one certified trainer)

Peewee Representative teams

All Coaches and Asst. Coaches require Checking, Speak Out & Coach Level or Development I certification; Checking certification will be offered to all NEW Coaches
at Development I Clinics beginning the 2011/12 season. All other Coaches who
already have their Coaching Certification (Coach Level or Development I) must
attend a standalone Checking Clinic (Districts 1, 2, 3, 5, 8) or attend Development I Clinic at a designated time (Distrcts 4, 6, 7, 9) to receive Checking certification.
